The #8x (Blue) extended expansion winterizing plugs are 1.56 inches in diameter and are used to plug 1.5 inch pipe. Made from non-corrosive heavy duty nylon; stainless steel; and high quality rubber. The wing nut turns easier and provides 50 percent greater tightness than conventional plugs.
